1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GoFly-A-Kite, you agree to be a good neighbor. If you don't agree to these terms, you’ll have to stay grounded (and off the app).

2. Safety & Liability Clause

Fly Responsibly: You are solely responsible for where and how you fly your kite.

The "No Trespassing" Rule: Our radar finds open spaces, but it doesn't grant you a key to the city. Respect private property, avoid power lines, and stay out of restricted airspace.

Physical Liability: GoFly-A-Kite (and its developer) is not responsible for any property damage, stuck kites, grumpy neighbors, or personal injuries. Fly at your own risk.

Local Data Disclaimer: Flight logs and saved kites are stored locally on your device. Smart Alert data is stored in an anonymous Firebase record only while alerts are enabled, and can be deleted from the app’s Settings using “Delete Cloud Alert Data.”

3. Accuracy & Service Availability

Our radar uses geometric projections to estimate acreage. It’s "Mr. Wilson" quality, but it's not magic. Always verify local signage and wind conditions before launching. We don’t guarantee that every "green spot" on the map is actually kite-friendly.

Weather Data: Current conditions and forecasts are provided by Apple Weather and may be modified to generate kite-flying suitability guidance. Weather information is not emergency or safety-critical guidance; always check local conditions before flying. Apple Weather data sources.

Service Availability: Features relying on live wind or weather data depend entirely on the availability and accuracy of third-party API services, which may experience downtime or inaccuracies outside of our control.

4. Tips & Purchases

Tips are 100% voluntary and are considered "digital gifts" to support the developer. Tips do not grant you special powers, extra features, or the right to break any of the rules listed above. All tips are final and non-refundable via Apple's App Store.

5. App License & Intellectual Property

We grant you a license to use this app for personal, non-commercial kite-seeking fun. Please don’t try to deconstruct the code or "menace" our servers.

Intellectual Property: The GoFly-A-Kite brand, unique neo-brutalist asset designs, and custom codebase are the intellectual property of its creator. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer these assets.
