Pilot Privacy Manifesto: Your Skies, Your Data

1. Data Privacy (No Collection)

No personal data is collected, stored on external servers, or shared with third parties. GoFly-A-Kite does not utilize user accounts, passwords, or profile registrations. Everything you do stays entirely on your device.

2. Location Data & Third-Party APIs

GoFly-A-Kite uses your real-time location only when the app is active to provide hyper-local wind speeds and safety zones. Location coordinates are processed exclusively on-device to pull data from third-party weather APIs and are never collected, stored externally, or linked to your identity. We do NOT track you in the background.

3. Secure Storage

Your flight data is guarded more closely than a stash of secret slingshot ammo. All user-generated content, including preferences and kite logs, is stored locally on your device. We never upload your data to the cloud. If you delete the app, your data is wiped with it.

4. Financial Transactions

All transactions (like voluntary tips) are handled securely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We do not see, process, or store your credit card numbers or bank details.

5. Your Choices & Contact
